SUMMER SURF CAMPS

     (Ages 6 yrs and older, parents too) since 1997!!

• Primary educational camps teach basic surfing functions, Marine & Ocean safety, board control, stance, basic paddling techniques, balance & proper basic posture, understanding how the weather affects the surf, and surfing fun are topics covered.
  
  
• Secondary/Continuing educational camps are designed to take your surfing to the next level (basic instruction required to attend). Learn more quickly, advance your skills and confidence, and also have great fun.
  Featured are board and wave interaction, surfing etiquette, surfing styles (short-vs-longboard types), crowds, wave reading, setup, and proper positioning for the wave, board maneuvering & turning by weight distribution, best wave size for intermediate level surfers, board selection & purchase, waxing, leash attachment, and board repair are topics covered.

 
Our goal is to increase your competency, familiarity, and comfort within the sport of surfing. Surfing has more variables than all sports combined. We want all participants to understand, practice is very important to maintain aquired skills.

COMPETITIVE SURF TRAINING

• We have on-staff top competitive surfers that are  capable of teaching you rules, time management, strategies & wave selections needed for competition.

VIDEO ANALYSIS AND CRITIQUE

• See the real you, and learn how to improve your surfing through video analysis. You surf and we tape your style and you take the tape home to watch.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
